We have established a group mail service the same as the Yahoo groups BUT without the extra stuff that Yahoo puts on each message, and it’s also “spam resistant”.

For addition or removal of addresses, I'll send a confirmation
message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it
to complete the transaction.
