IGNITION LOCK BARRELS & KEYS
Ferretware has a limited number of the original lock barrels and keys used in the Ferret Scout Car. These are not "pull outs" but are unused. I have a couple with the original Wilmot Breeden key which by itself is very hard to find.
Each lock is sold with two keys. The pricing schedule is as follows:
Lock Barrel with two US (Curtis or ILC) key blanks cut to fit - $25 USD
Lock Barrel with one Wilmot Breeden Key and one US blank cut to fit - $30 USD
Lock Barrel with TWO Wilmot Breeden keys (we have only one of these remaining) - $50 USD
THE PRICES ABOVE INCLUDE SHIPPING !

HOW EASY IS IT TO INSTALL THE LOCK ?
The lock barrels just slide into the cavity. With each lock I include a detailed instruction sheet. It will take you longer to read the instructions than install the lock! It is extremely simple.

BONUS INFORMATION ABOUT THE KEYS USED WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH LOCK
If you have a lock barrel in your Ferret's ignition switch and need some key information, this may help.
The basic key blank is a UN2. This type of key has three possible lock blade positions:
#1 - No key cut, key blade is at full height (original top of the blade)
#2 - Key blade position cut is 0.30" below the height of the uncut key
#3 - Key blade position is cut 0.65" below the height of the uncut key
NOTE: The first depression next to the blade stop ridge is NOT A CUT - this depression will appear on ALL the blanks. There are only six blades on the lock, not seven.
This is a Curtis key blank, type FA UN2
