TECHNICAL GUIDE TO THE FERRET

 

 

The original issue Battery No 2 Mark 1 was a 12 Volt 60 Ampere-hour lead acid battery of standard type housed in a semi waterproof container and connected in series to provide 24 volt supply.

A waterproofed sealed container was issued for use on Ferrets but was withdrawn after numerous occurances of the rubber battery breathers failing and gas build-up blowing the tops off the containers.
