The hull number is the multi-digit number stamped on the large cast data plate about 6"x4" near the drivers shoulder height. It may be on the left or right. Some early vehicles had it located behind the transfer lever in a position ideally suited to removing the skin from your knuckles.

Vehicles without hull numbers are listed at the bottom if we haven't managed to corelate the registration number with known hull and registration numbers.
